Prophetic Word: I AM Building an Army
of Specialists

The Lord has been speaking strongly
to my heart for quite sometime about
raising up a new generation of warriors
in the body of Christ. In
fact, this was our theme for the 2007
Christian Poets & Prophetic Writer's
Retreat, and part of the word the Lord
released to us in December of 2007,
"I Have Declared Scribal Warfare Upon
the Land."
As of late, this word has been
resurfacing in my spirit – especially as
it relates to the worship arts.
This is the prophetic word the Lord
spoke just this week:
"I am building an
army of specialists – undercover agents
for covert operations. I am releasing
them as companies, my secret weapons
within the earth."
Further Insight: Holy
"sanctified" scribes! You are the Lord's
secret weapons. He is preparing you for
covert operations in the earth realm. Of
all the gifts within the ministry of the
worship arts, your literary ministry is
among the very last in this dispensation
of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to arise
from the ashes and bombard the
principalities and powers of the air.
For years, your sound has been silenced
in the congregations and muffled behind
open mics and the intense fusion of
entertainment that now clouds the pulpit
and removes the power of God from the
pulpits in the Western church. Yet, I've
heard the Lord say to me – there is a
remnant.
For years, many have sat comfortably in
churches hearing the Lord clearly speak
to them creatively. But because it
wasn't the season or because many had
their own definition concerning who you
were – you were only pulled out of the
closet for Christmas speeches, wedding
receptions, and men's or women's day
programs. Today, the Lord is revealing
your purpose. You may be an evangelist
or a pastor, but if you are an
evangelist and pastor walking under the
passion of
The Scribal Anointing – then you
are a secret weapon. Know surely, that
the Lord has a very unique plan for
using your "creative scribal ministry"
to preach and teach the gospel. You've
either entered into a season where the
desire to be "set loose" in this call is
overtaking you or you have entered a
place of recognizing that there is "more
to this passion to write" that meets the
eye. I beg you, don't miss God as he
calls you forth and moves you away from
"traditional" type ministry. Understand
by the spirit that he is releasing a
fresh oil upon you and targeting key
areas for attack in the kingdom of
darkness using your unique scribal
ministry.
Here is my testimony to this: I
am a prophet called of the Lord who
fully walks under the mantle the Lord
has placed on my life at this point.
Yes, I preach and I prophesy but there
is another targeted ministry within me
that comes forth in poetry, spoken word
and prophetic teaching. However, this
"targeted" aspect of the prophetic
mantle draws the unsaved, convicts and
delivers the religious, and breaks the
bonds of entertainment, comparison,
compromise and competition off the body
of Christ through God's
prophetic poetry and spoken word. YES!
Our Father is that specific. Each word
he prompts you to speak through your
pure, sanctified, love-led ministry is a
"guided" missile or bomb set upon a
predetermined target in the heavenly
realm.
My God! Don't think it's strange when
you are sitting in the pews and all of a
sudden poetic or scribal revelation
begins to fill your belly as you hear
the pastor preach. Don't be surprised
that the Holy Spirit snatches you awake
in the midnight hour to write his words.
Don't think it's weird when you are
standing behind the pulpit preaching and
suddenly you feel the urge to enter into
a realm of creativity with your words
and they flow from your belly like
butter. Don't think it's strange when
you begin to be pulled to the streets,
the market place, the corner cafes or
other venues to release what is in your
spirit. I tell you, this is the Lord
your God and many WILL NOT understand!
But guess what? There are generals,
lieutenants, majors and other ranked
officers who are ready, waiting, and
appointed by God to help you understand
who you are and what the Lord is doing
in this season! He has raised them up
SPECIFICALLY to help launch you into
this new place in your walk with the
Lord. He is using them to ignite the
fire that is shut up in your bones that
will enable you to, in turn, move up in
the ranks and eventually build "special
ops" in the spirit realm that will
snatch souls from hell and break the
spirit of entertainment off the body of
Christ. I tell you, the Lord is calling
you but can you hear him?
I tell you, the Lord uses my scribal
gift almost always to infiltrate the
"entertainment" arena of the church.
Many of the poems, plays, and spoken
word pieces that he gives me address
"body corruption" and "the need for
corporate repentance." So my
word-missiles are targeted at the
spirits who overtake church folk with
religion and entertainment. When the
Lord speaks through me these are the
yokes that are destroyed and the burdens
that are lifted. Do you know your area
of "specialty?" Yes, my writing hits
other places to from time to time, but I
tell you my training in the army of the
Lord has caused me to "specialize" in
this area. Every scribe (and worship
arts leader for that matter) has a
specialty. Some may be encouragers and
exhorters, while others may be like
John the Baptist who only spoke of
repentance!
A specialist is a person who has moved
from general practice in a subject to an
area of specialty. You wouldn't let a
gynecologist operate on your brain would
you? No. You wouldn't seek out a dry
cleaner to extract a tooth would you?
Well guess what? Just as there are
specialists in natural professions,
there are also specialists in the
spirit. There are pastors who specialize
in grief counseling. As a poet or
creative writer, their scribal ministry
may be full of words of comfort, joy and
encouragement. An evangelist who has a
heart for the youth may end up writing
rap or creative spoken word that
simplifies biblical truths to bring
understanding. A prophetic teacher may
break down a hard to spell word in an
acrostic poem that describes or defines
the very word itself.
I tell you, no one can limit God! These
armies are gathering in pockets all over
the world. They are traveling in teams
with a foundation built on intercession
and prayer. They are being led by
radical Jesus-focused men and women of
God who have nothing to lose! They've
stripped their grave clothes and
embraced the full joy that comes with
following Jesus Christ! Man
is NOT their god.
1 Chronicles 12:1-14 is a
most excellent example of what the Lord
is doing in this season. If you have the
patience, I'm going to touch on this a
little bit with you beginning with verse
1. I have not quoted all of the verses,
only a few. I encourage you to read this
entire chapter on your own.

Now these were the men who came
to David at Ziklag while he
was still a fugitive from Saul
the son of Kish; and they
were among the mighty men,
helpers in the war,

armed with bows, using both the right
hand and the left in hurling
stones and shooting arrows with
the bow. They were of
Benjamin, Saul's
brethren.
David
represents the ministry of the worship
arts – which also includes scribal
ministry. He was sold out for the Lord,
yet his exploits as a warrior in that
time were well known. He was walking in
his purpose, even then. As a result, the
Lord God begins drawing men to him for
the purpose of preparing for battle.
Though these men were trained and
skillful in the art of war, they were
still not quite ready. Some fine tuning
still needed to take place in them
BEFORE they could actually fight in
God's army. You see, though we have many
scribes for the Kingdom, there's still
too much "world" in many of them. God
wants to prune this ... and get it out.
So you see... many of the companies that
are forming in this season will be a
catalyst for pulling the "true"
Jesus
out of people and casting down the
counterfeit. Come on...

Some Gadites joined David at
the stronghold in the wilderness,
mighty men of valor, men trained for
battle, who could handle shield and
spear, whose faces were like
the faces of lions, and were as
swift as gazelles on the mountains...
David
was already facing the stronghold.
Again, these warriors were skilled and
ready. Like many prophetic writer's
today, the poetic flow and the skill to
release those words is there. In
addition, they have a desire and zeal to
go and do especially when they believe
they've been called to "lead the army"
or to serve under a proven leader.
17And David went out to meet
them, and answered and said to them, "If
you have come peaceably to me to help
me, my heart will be united with you;
but if to betray me to my enemies, since
there is no wrong in my hands,
may the God of our fathers look and
bring judgment."
18
Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief
of the captains, and he said:
"We are yours, O David;
We are on your side, O son
of Jesse!
Peace, peace to you,
And peace to your helpers!
For your God helps you."
So
David received them, and made them
captains of the troop.
Despite how good they looked and how
skilled they were, this general in the
army, David, knew that skill
and zeal alone WAS NOT enough to take
this stronghold. So he said in so many
words, "Are you sold out for my
Jesus! Is he your Lord and
Savior!" As soon as David
laid down the law, the Spirit of the
Lord came over the chief captain upon
them and these men made a conscious,
sincere commitment to serve the Lord and
not man. David, in his wisdom
and authority under the Father, weeded
out those who wanted God's glory, and
found those who only wanted to be
servants.

For at that time they came to
David
day by day to help him, until it was
a great army, like the army of God.
You see, when the
Lord does it ... a great army will be
formed, and that army WILL BE
victorious. There is absolutely no way
we can lose in this season, even when we
see people "losing," churches closing,
and men and women of God giving up.
There is always a "REMNANT" in
preparation by God. What you are doing
may seem like a "lone ranger" plan of
action ... but in the end, the troops
will be numbered to a point where no man
can count.
It's up to you now.
It's time to choose between the master
of this world or the lover of your soul.
It's time to move from undergrad to
graduate and enter into your SPECIALTY.
What weapon is in your hand? Who are you
commissioned to walk with in this
season? Are you waiting on man to
validate you? Are you waiting on man to
invite you into their clicks and small
groups?
If you are, then
you just might miss God. Trust him. Seek
him. Find him. Let him have his way in
you...
