OVERVIEW: Voices of
Christ Literary Ministries International is a very unique ministry. We
are not only committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through
the ministry of creative writing (with an emphasis on poetry and spoken
word), but we are committed to training and
equipping present day scribes to be effective leaders in their homes,
communities, churches and the world by becoming an epistle.
While many ministries focus on showcasing and performing their gifts,
book publishing, marketing or promoting their work, the Voices of Christ
focuses primarily on turning the HEART OF THE SCRIBE toward the Father. We believe
that a strong IDENTITY & FOUNDATION in Christ is needed before a present
day scribe can walk fully and completely in their scribal ministry.
While other areas of literary ministry (like performing, marketing,
promotions, publishing, editing, etc.) are important, they are not
the principle focus -- Christ is.
We are committed to keeping CHRIST first, and being a clear and
resounding VOICE for Him.
We believe that once this foundation has been set, then a scribe
can begin to minister, train and equip others for effective ministry while being pushed to obtain excellence in presenting their ministry to
others in oratorical or published form. Not only are we a catalyst for
pushing you to excel in Holy Spirit living, but we are your arm of
accountability in this unique, often rarely respected area ministry unto God.
We go into
the places where HOPE is needed to encourage, uplift and reconcile God's
people back to him. While many scribes are fighting for positions on an
open mic, hungering to be seen on a world stage, and pushing products, we are
storming nursing homes, prisons, youth detention centers, group
homes, hospitals, literacy projects and other areas with the love of God. If no one ever knows our
names, we will be happy and SATISFIED knowing that we have done all that
God has commanded. We challenge scribes to head the VOICE OF GOD and be
willing, if he commanded them, to sow their books, CDs and other
products into the lives of others for the gospels sake -- expecting
nothing in return.
Voices of Christ also stands as a beacon of light in assisting the
present day church with embracing The Scribal Anointing™!
We are also a center of security and acceptance for those walking boldly
in a gift that has been overlooked and sometimes ignored and rejected.

MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
Membership
in Voices of Christ is open to poets, spoken word artists, novelists,
playwrights, and other creative, inspirational writers who have accepted
Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their lives as well as those seeking
to learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Review

In addition, members of Voices of Christ are expected to:
1. Believe in the complete bible - Old & New Testaments
2. Uphold our Faith Statement
3. Desire to use your gift to evangelize
4. Desire to use your gift to teach and minister the gospel to the body
5. Desire to participate in missions, community service and outreach
6. Have a passion to glorify and uplift the name of Jesus
7. Be a member of a local church (tithe payer/regular attendee); If not
active in a church you must be willing to join one that teaches
Jesus
8. Commit to completing at least one manuscript by the end of your
membership year
We do not
have an application for membership process per se, but we do use the information
collected on your membership form to help us get to know you better,
keep in touch and
to assist you with moving to next level in your prophetic call to write
the creative word of the Lord.
We are NOT a performance or entertainment group. We provide venues for creative prophetic scribes to
exercise their scribal ministry. In addition, we host various literary events including open mics, book expos, youth
conferences, and other community functions.
MEMBERSHIP LEVELS
Voices of Christ Literary Ministries International offers membership on
two levels: National Membership and Local Membership. A prophetic writer
should become a member of the National Chapter, before joining a local or
regional Voices of Christ chapter. For National & Local Membership Fee

VOC IS COMPRISED OF THE FOLLOWING DIVISIONS:
MEMBERSHIP FEES
All applicants should submit a National Membership fee with their
application. In
addition, local chapter fees may also apply. Please contact your local
chapter director, if applicable, for more information.
National Membership:
$45 Annually Individual; $95
Annually Organization/Group
Local Membership: Please contact a chapter director in your area.
Fees may vary from "none" to $45 max for individual membership only.
MEMBER BENEFITS: 10 to 50% Off VOC Books, Retreats, Classes and
other products; Attend VOC workshops, classes events for free or up to
70% advertised price; Display or sell your ministry products/services at
VOC events worldwide; Get free vending space at VOC events; Share your
products, services and testimonies during VOC classes, workshops,
events, etc. when hosted in your area; Travel with Voices of Christ for
ministry activities or events; VOC assists you in promoting your
literary related ministry services, events; Be among the first to
receive new product information, and books; Serve as contributing
writers for Esdras' Scroll; and more. List in Membership Packet.
MEMBERSHIP PACKETS: (Member Benefits/Information/Application)
Upon joining the ministry, you will receive a detailed membership packet
by mail within eight to 12 weeks, along with a phone call from the President, National Director
or Chapter Director to welcome you to the ministry and answer any
questions that you may have.
